Why is this happening?

While the device does work with water only, if there are layers of plaque, stubborn stains, or a history of prolonged retainer use, the initial cleaning process may require a bit more effort.

How to get clear results?

To see impressive results, especially the first few times, there are some important steps to follow:

1. Soak with a deep cleaning tablet
   For initial treatment, it is recommended to soak the retainer for several hours or overnight with a whitening or disinfecting tablet (like denture tablets).
   The tablets break down plaque, remove stains, and prepare the retainer for more effective cleaning.
2. Run for 10 minutes
   After soaking, run the device for 10 continuous minutes (Professional Cleaning Mode).
   A regular run (Regular Cleaning Mode) is not always sufficient for thorough cleaning the first few times if the retainer is in poor condition.
3. Repeat the process for two weeks
   For most users, significant results begin to appear after one to two weeks of proper use.
   After that, you can switch to a simple daily cleaning routine with water only.

What about daily use?

Once the deep cleaning has been done, it's enough to run the device every day for a few minutes with water only.
To maintain results, you can add a tablet to the device.
